Earlier this year, I had the privilege of donating two portrait sessions to the Newcastle Race Day fundraising event for Cystic Fibrosis, held at the Newcastle Raceway. The Tong family was lucky enough to win one of those sessions through the silent auction, and it was such a joy to capture their beautiful family.
The fundraiser raised an incredible $71,183.87 for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and I am so happy to have been a small part of such a fantastic cause. It’s always inspiring to see a community come together for something so meaningful, and I’m grateful to have contributed in my own way.
This fundraiser is held annually, so be sure to keep an eye on their Facebook page for details about next year’s event. It’s definitely one to look out for!
