Wedding Photography
With over 20 years photographing weddings in Port Stephens, Newcastle and Hunter Valley, I still get excited every time I turn up at a wedding. To be able to capture the emotion, nervousness, love, tears and laughter. Photographing what you don’t see, as well as being able to capture those images that you look on many years later to remember your very special day.
My style is both posed and natural, candid style. Bringing both elements together, you won’t find yourself wondering “what do you want me to do?” I will guide you through a recommended timeline for the day, allowing you both free time to spend with your guests and private moments between you and your new partner in crime along with photographic time to capture all those images you desire.
The colour editing in which I work with is “real colours”, I do not desaturate, make orange or alter the colours to be anything less than what they are naturally.
I believe that current trends have a limited life span and I wish for your memories to be a replica of exactly how your day was and doesn’t date.
Who will photograph your wedding?
Your wedding is photographed by myself, Natalie Grounds. You can also choose a second photographer to photographer different angles. The second photographer also captures the images that may have been missed. As, whilst I am focused on the wedding couple, your second photographer is taking focus to your family members and guests. Together it brings you a seamless photographic coverage of your day.
It’s really important that you like your wedding photographer, besides your partner and bridal party, your photographer is the next person in line that you will spend most of your wedding day with!

Complementary engagement session
A complementary engagement session is included to any package over 6 hours.
This allows for you to get to know me, as well as getting you comfortable in front of the camera.
You will get an insight into the prompts and poses that we may do on your wedding day.
Wedding Videography
Booking both a Photography + Videography Package with me?
Video Album
Un-like a normal videographer. I create a “fusion highlight” video of both images and video from your wedding day. If you are after an overall 10-20 min video of your day, showing the best highlights of your day, then a fusion video is the perfect option for your day.
The "fusion" option is only available, when a photography package is also booked. It is available to be added as an “additional product” in your “create your own package” template that is emailed to you upon enquiry.
Videography includes professional microphone during the ceremony incorporating your personal vows into your highlight film. Expect around 3mins of fusion footage per each hour booked. Example a 4 hour coverage = 12 min video.
Upgrade your package for a comprehensive video of your day can be filmed which can include the ceremony, speeches, personal message recordings with family members and special guests. Microphone hooked up during ceremony for clear recording.
Adding videography to your photography package is the most cost effective way to cover all photo + video aspects of your wedding day.
