Caroline & Ian’s Intimate Port Stephens Wedding

A Love Story from England to Soldiers Point

Wedding Date: 1st March 2025

Venue: Woody’s Place, Soldiers Point NSW

Some weddings are big and bold. Others are quiet and full of meaning. Caroline and Ian’s day was a beautiful, intimate wedding.  Held on the 1st March 2025 on the balcony at Woody’s Place, looking out over the calm waters of Soldiers Point.

This wasn’t just a wedding. It was a moment of deep love, shared between two people who had travelled halfway across the world to be married in a place that means so much to them.

A Destination Wedding Full of Heart

Caroline and Ian made the journey from England to Port Stephens to say “I do”. With the gentle sound of the water and the soft rustle of trees behind them, it was everything an intimate wedding should be, personal, peaceful, and real.

In attendance were a few cherished guests, Caroline’s father, Tom, and her sister Megan with her family. These family members made the trip from Sydney. A small group, but all that was needed to fill the moment with love.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place on the balcony, overlooking the foreshore. A stunning natural setting that didn’t need much dressing up. With Darrin Noon (Best Man Celebrant) leading the proceedings, the vibe was relaxed, heartfelt, and authentically them.

Beautiful blooms from Salamander Village Florist complementing the natural beauty of the location.

A Dinner to Remember

After the ceremony and photographs, the newlyweds and their loved ones made their way to Little Beach Boathouse.

A perfect choice for a relaxed, coastal wedding dinner. With its fresh seafood, laid-back atmosphere, and those unbeatable sunset views over the bay. It wrapped up the day in the most beautiful way.

Caroline and Ian’s Port Stephens wedding is a reminder that sometimes, simple is perfect. A handful of loved ones, a stunning spot by the water, and a whole lot of love, what more could you ask for?
